How We Go Above and Beyond for the Families We Serve

mkj • Mar 10, 2020

When was the last time you had a remarkable customer service experience in Lake Ronkonkoma , Holbrook , Central Islip , or Bohemia ? Maybe an employee made an extra effort during a routine interaction. Maybe you walked into a store or restaurant with expectations that were not only met – but exceeded. Perhaps you were having a tough day and a kind word from a perfect stranger set you on a different course.

At Moloney Funeral Homes , our caring staff understands how important it is to treat people with compassion and integrity. This applies tenfold in the hours, days, and weeks after a death. What families need from us when they walk through our doors is compassion, professionalism, and our help with details. There’s a reason family come to us generation after generation. They tell us that when they’re with us they feel seen, known, and understood.

The bottom line is that people turn to us during some of the most difficult moments of their lives because they know they can trust us. Yes, our facilities are second to none. Yes, our pricing is affordable and our costs transparent. But what brings families back is the way they were treated when they were with us.

When James P. Moloney founded Moloney Funeral Home in 1933, life looked a lot different around New York. Our community has grown and changed immensely since then – but people’s needs remain largely the same. Our friends and neighbors still deserve the best, most compassionate funeral and cremation care possible.

Today, James Moloney’s grandsons, owner Daniel Moloney Jr., is carrying on his legacy. We call it “ The Moloney Difference ” and it’s our commitment to providing the most trustworthy, professional service possible.

We often say that helping families isn’t a job to us; it’s our calling. Moloney Funeral Homes has been locally and family owned  for over 75 years , and this sets us apart in notable ways:

  • We have the flexibility to do what it takes to meet your needs without dealing with corporate red tape. We don’t answer to a board of directors or shareholders. We answer to you – the people and families that make up our neighborhoods.
  • We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As part of this community , we feel a responsibility to our neighbors in Port Jefferson Station , Hauppauge , Center Moriches , and Tribute Center , and are always available to help.
  • We don’t want you to worry about cost, so we make it possible to plan a service that fulfills your needs while respecting your budget.

When you walk into Moloney Funeral Homes , we want you to feel at ease. We understand that the little details make a significant difference, and are ready to help you with every decision you need to make. Don’t hesitate to call with questions or stop by to meet us in person.
