A traditional funeral service with burial typically consists of a visitation, followed by a funeral service then burial in a cemetery. Each one of these components can be tailored to your needs and wishes.
The visitation is a time to commemorate a life lived, pay tribute to that life and to offer support and comfort to loved ones. Eulogies and prayer services also often take place at the visitation. The location, timing, tone and atmosphere of a visitation can be structured according to your family’s traditions and preferences.
The funeral service is typically held at a church or other place of worship and takes place the morning of the burial.
The burial takes place at the final resting place you have chosen for your loved one. A short burial service by clergy or funeral director will then be followed by a final farewell to your loved one.
