Serving Families from Our Seven Locations

mkj • November 28, 2022

When a family chooses a funeral home, there are a lot of factors to consider. These include the family’s history with funeral homes in the area. Have they previously worked with a funeral home staff or attended funerals at a certain location? Perhaps they know someone who works at the funeral home or has a specific service option in mind.

At Moloney Family Funeral Homes , we understand that cost, quality, and value are also on every family’s mind when they go looking for a suitable funeral home. One of the biggest factors families talk to us about is where a funeral is located. Is it close by? Convenient for funeral guests? What about the availability of parking and the size of the facility itself?

One of the things we’re most proud of here at Moloney is our ability to offer families the choice of seven different facilities.

While we started with a single funeral home in Central Islip in 1933, we’ve gone on to expand to locations in Lake Ronkonkoma , Holbrook , Port Jefferson Station , Bohemia , Center Moriches , and Hauppauge. This gives our neighbors the option to choose the right location for them. Families travel from all over New York so our staff here at Moloney can assist with their funeral , cremation , and burial needs. We promise to offer the same high-quality service at each of our locations.

Growing from one funeral home to seven didn’t happen by chance. Rather, it happened because generations of families came to appreciate the trustworthy, personal service they received – and they continue to count on us during their time of need.

Since establishing the first funeral home on Carleton Avenue in Central Islip, Founder James Moloney’s work ethic and values passed down to his son, F. Daniel Moloney Sr., who continued the legacy of helping those around them. Daniel saw his father’s and grandfather’s professionalism and love for area families – what has since been dubbed “ The Moloney Difference ” – and continue offering the highest quality service while giving back to the community.

The Moloney Difference continues with the next generation, as Daniel Moloney Jr.’s daughter Danielle Hassett, is carrying on the family tradition. These three cousins are all licensed funeral directors dedicated to giving the same level of care they’ve seen their family provide for decades before them.

Regardless of the funeral home location you choose, the staff at Moloney Family Funeral Homes will give you our full care and attention. You can leave all the details to us so you can focus on what matters most: the people you love.

Don’t hesitate to stop by one of our locations or reach out anytime online or by phone.
