Meet the Owners
F. DANIEL MOLONEY JR.

Daniel is a co-owner of Moloney Family Funeral Homes. He was born and raised in Lake Ronkonkoma and still resides there with his wife, Denice, and their two children, Danielle and Anna Kathleen.
Daniel has been in the funeral business for over a decade and is very active within the industry through his associate memberships in the International Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Association, Preferred Funeral Directors International, National Funeral Directors Association, New York State Funeral Directors Association, Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors Association, and Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association.
He is also active in his community through his organization memberships with: AMVETS, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, LeTIP International, and Sons of Italy.
PETER G. MOLONEY

Peter was born in West Islip, NY and grew up in Lake Ronkonkoma, along with seven siblings, and now resides in Patchogue. Peter is a co-owner of Moloney Family Funeral Homes. He and his wife, Abbie, have four children – Paige, Molly, Connor and Erin. They are all members of the New Life Community Church in Sayville.
Peter attended John the Baptist High School in West Islip, and following high school, attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie. There he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.
After college, he attended the American Academy of McAllister Institute in New York City. He then became a licensed funeral director and joined his father in the family business.
Peter also attended Dale Carnegie School in Hauppauge and completed all courses available in public relations and public speaking. He is also a NY licensed insurance agent and Notary Public in Suffolk County.
He is currently an active member of: the Knights of Columbus Holbrook Chapter, International Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Association, Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors, Metropolitan Funeral Directors, and the National Association of Approved Morticians.
Peter’s hobbies include skiing, triathlons, fitness and being outdoors, which he enjoys doing with his family.
