Maksym, Benjamin P. of Sayville, NY on January 19, 2012 in his 88th year. Proud WWII veteran, 487th Bomb Group, Army Air Corps, where he flew 34 combat missions. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and four medals. Benjamin retired from NY Telephone as a telephone engineer after 43 years of service.

Beloved husband of Ruth, Devoted father of Richard, Thomas and William Maksym and Step father of Ellen Johnston, John, Neil and Brian Toohey. Dear brother of Elaine and the late Henry J. and Joseph. Cherished Grandfather of 15 and Great Grandfather of 14.
