Wallace, Alexander Joseph of Farmingdale, NY on October 28, 2010 in his 76th year. Beloved Husband of Lucille. Devoted Father of Robert (Susan) and Kenneth Wallace. Cherished Grandfather of Kristy, Nicholas and Domenica. Dear Brother of Joan (Robert) Funa. Cherished Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Al was a proud employee of the Grumman Corp. for 44 yrs. He was an adjunct professor at SUNY Farmingdale for 22 yrs. He was President and active member of Suffolk County ASA Umpires Association for 45 yrs. Member of the Huntington Softball Hall of Fame and the Lissa Hall of Fame. Al organized and managed the Farmingdale Tobay Tiger home and travel softball teams.

Reposing Moloneys Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd. (Rte. 111) Hauppauge, NY where a religious service will be held on Sunday afternoon. Funeral Mass Monday 10:45 at St. Kilian RC Church, Farmingdale, NY. Interment following Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
