William Schlegel

William Schlegel, age 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 24th. He was a funny guy who loved taking a joke and laughing. He loved his family, Gunsmoke, his cat Saucy, tennis, baseball and all food. He was proud of his service to our nation in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in August of 1966. He married the love of his life Patricia Halpin in 1967. They were married for 52 years until she passed away in September 2019. He is survived by his children Chris, Joanna, Eric and their spouses Dawn, Vicki and Terri along with his grandchildren Fiona and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his sister Doris Pompillio and is survived by his siblings Irma Reynolds and Ernie Schlegel.
