Virginia Ference, 81, of Smithtown, NY passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on August 14th, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY. She is preceded in death by her significant other Sam, her brother Peter, father Peter and mother Helen. A loving mother and cherished grandmother, she is survived by her daughters Nancy (George) and Lori (Scott) and her grandchildren Jen, Nick, Christopher, Sam and Syd. Virginia was a talented artist, whose paintings have been displayed at the Smithtown Library and senior center. She was incredibly devoted to her family. She was and will be a continued source of strength to them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
