Hard to know what to say during times like this. It’s difficult to put into words what I feel. I will always remember how good hearted and fun Al was. I’m sorry we had not seen you all in a long time. Our love and heartfelt thoughts to you Honey and all the family. Thinking of you….Miss You.
Jane Thomas left a message on August 15, 2022:
Al was always a vibrant and funny fellow and I always looked forward to kibitzing with him every time we met. Al's wife Iris was my brother-in-law's first cousin so neither of them were direct relatives. But they felt as though they were... I am so sorry at Al's loss and that Iris has lost the love of her life. May he rest in peace...

To the Rizzi family so sorry for Al's death . We had great times up in the adirondacks for the last fifties years plus he might be gone now but we will cherish the good times we had with you. Al we will truly miss you until we meet again .
MARGARET G BURKE left a message on August 14, 2022:
We were heartbroken to hear of Al's death. He was so gentle and full of life. We loved his stories of being a "hippie" policeman. One of a kind, Al, will truly be missed.

Sincere condolences to Iris ( Boopsy), Al Jr., & Tim. Al was a good man, lots of life in him and a big heart. He will be sorely missed.
Anthony Del Broccolo left a message on August 13, 2022:
Al was a wonderful man, who raised great children. Whenever he would see my mom in later years, he would remind her that I told him my entire address and phone number when I was 4 years old (he was concerned for my safety at the time.) I’m 49 now and no longer live there, but my phone number was (516) 585-5412 and I lived at 124 Bradford Ave — across the street from the Rizzis — and I still haven’t encountered a better neighbor than Al. He will be missed.
Karen M Dreher (Ted's wife) left a message on August 13, 2022:
Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Iris and the whole family. We loved Al, all of him, the wise guy that made us laugh and the thoughtful, kind guy who shared his big heart. He will be missed but we will keep him in our hearts and hold on to many fond memories always. Sending much love.
