Shanti Devi Kapoor

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of our mother Shanti Devi Kapoor, affectionately known to all as “Mummy.”

She was born on November 5, 1927, in India and is survived by her 5 Children (Sarojini Kumar, Vijay Kapoor, Reena Puri, Vinay Kapoor and Anil Kapoor), 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, she served as the backbone for our entire family, instilling strong values in every one of us and supporting us unwaveringly.

She was loved by all and lived a life worthy of celebration. Even during her final days, as she fought dementia, she was always surrounded by her family and remained in high spirits. She loved her family deeply and touched the lives of countless friends and family.
