Santosh Malik

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend Santosh Malik, matriarch of our family. She died at home on Friday, November 25th, following a day of Thanksgiving festivities at her home, surrounded by her family. In Sanskrit, Santosh means confidence or leader. In her quiet way, she lead our family and many others with grace, love and commitment.

We will honor her Tuesday and every day thereafter. We will share our memories and celebrate her life on Tuesday, November 29 at 11 o’clock at Moloney Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma. The service and cremation will be followed by lunch at Jassi’s Indian cuisine 271 – 11 Union Turnpike, Queens New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hindu center temple( hinducenternyc.org) or National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC)
