Rosalie Koehler, age 92, of Ronkonkoma, NY, passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2022. Rosalie was born on February 7th, 1930 to Charles and Adeline Ognibene in Brooklyn, NY. Her mom unfortunately died a young death and she was graced by stepmother Carolyn, who raised her as her own for the rest of her life. She married the love of her life, Albert, on March 3rd, 1957 who preceded her in death in 2004. For many years Rosalie worked at the Bank of Tokyo in New York City.

Rosalie loved people and cherished her family deeply. She also had a love for cooking and would often make macaroni, sauce, and meatballs for her family as the grandchildren were growing up. Rosalie loved listening to Italian music, playing slot machines in Atlantic City, and socializing with friends through her women’s club.

She leaves her legacy to her three children: Linda & Anthony Baio, Kathryn Koehler and Albert & Lucy Koehler. Rosalie is survived by 6 loving grandchildren: Gina, Lori, Michele, Christina, Marc, Philip and their spouses. She also has 9 great-grandchildren: Michael, Thomas, Jake, Cole, Sydney, Noah, Kylie, Evan, & Dakota. She is survived by her sister Carolyn and many loving nieces and nephews. Rosalie also loved her late brother, Charlie dearly.

Rosalie lived a beautiful life. Her secret to a long, healthy life was eating Italian bread. She will be forever missed, and memories with her will be cherished for eternity.
