We wish we had more time to spend with you. Our hearts are saddened but memories are full. We know you're at peace now. Mom and Dad always tell us stories. We love the story of how everyone would always decorate you on Christmas, if/when you'd take a nap. We know you always loved to laugh and joke around. We will keep smiling laughing and joking in memory of you. Love, The Nicholson's

Robert Amato (Bobby). left a message on January 3, 2023:
I would like to take this time to say how much I will miss the person who will no longer be with us This person whom I am speaking about is my father, who is also the greatest father that one could have. Although I am sad about loosing you I am just glad you are at peace. Although I know you fought hard to fight this terrible disease I will say you are not a quitter and that’s what you taught all your four children. You were a perfect example of a strong man . I will always remember your passion for the love of music . You would always Sing along with Frank Sinatra especially his two songs ‘ Fly me to the moon” and New York,Newyork . The angels are now waiting for you to sing. Dad you are the greatest. Rest In Peace.
Eddie Strohm left a message on January 3, 2023:
Mrs. Amato, Scott, Gary and Bobby- I am so very sorry to hear about Mr. Amato’s passing. Some of the fondest memories I hold are of coming over and spending time with Mr. Amato while waiting for Scott or Gary to get ready. He was funny, street wise, kind and a good man. I thank him for the warm welcome I always received and for the Amato family always treating me like a fourth son. Sincerely, Eddie Strohm

Patti & Phil Costello left a message on January 2, 2023:
We are saddened by Uncle Bobby’s death. Over the past few years we have grown closer than we ever were. We will miss his calls and sense of humor, like my dad, his brother Tony, always joking and laughing. Condolences to all family members, especially to Aunt Miriam.
Geoff and Margaret Yorke left a message on January 2, 2023:
Bob has been such an integral part of our extended family for so many years that it will be difficult to imagine future family gatherings without him. They simply will not be the same, in the absence of Bob’s good-natured teasing and his lively sense of humor. Despite the geographic distance between our homes, he was always a very concerned uncle to our two sons and his Italian cooking was the work of a true kitchen pro. He will always be “Uncle Bob” to the four of us and we will always love him.
Christine Amato left a message on December 31, 2022:
I am truly blessed to have had you as my father in law. You were always there for me Gary and the boys and even Brody. I will miss your singing and your jokes no matter how bad they were. You will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace Dad. Love you
