I will miss you deeply. You always knew how to cheer me up when I was down. I will forever remember the recipes you taught me, the rides to Stake n Shake for a milk shake , and watching the Hallmark channel all day long together. I can’t forget our shared lunches of either a half a sandwich with half coke and our McDonald’s run for a happy meal each. You have taught me a lot about life and also a few funny old wise tales. I will always love you and miss you and my what goes out to your children, grandchildren, and you siblings. I will be praying for all of you for strength in this time.

My heart is breaking for her family. The loss of a loved one is sad. She always had a kind word everyone. She is young again and full of life. No pain just happiness.
I will miss my Aunt Phyllis forever
How do you add up all the Sunday dinners, birthdays, holidays, soccer games, just because days & non sleepovers? In August we were joking that I still owed her a sleepover. Our first day of school, our graduation, my wedding, her flying from FL to NY just for my baby shower! The ride to Adventureland, not sure how old I was when I really found out it wasn’t in NJ. Or how old we were when we found out Jay’s birthday wasn’t the 4th of July. Busting her chops about her age & her calling me a brat.
I’m so lucky that I got to call her my aunt & I’ll always be her brat
Sending my Love and Condolences to all her family and friends.
To reach back into my memories of the years we lived on Oakdale Ave in Selden. Our sons is what our friendship started with and grew us closer, her grandparents were a daily conversation, and we continued to talk even when I moved. But my heart is broken and I will so cherish our memories we made together.
Her sons were her life, it was all about them and I'm sure they know how much she loved them so very much.
My friend R.I.P. and watch over your family, we shall all meet again. Till we do My heart is broken, and I will always remember us and our friendship.

Phyllis & I started out as cousins & wound up friends. The love & respect that we both had for our grandparents was the foundation of our relationship & then we built on that. It was when our kids were born 5 months apart that our friendship took off. They grew up closer than many siblings, doing everything together.
The past several years we spoke on the phone every weekend & dabbled in Ancestry together. We laughed with each other & at ourselves. Recently our chats were more frequent & much more serious & deeper. We both agreed that our greatest accomplishment are our kids & grandchildren. She was so proud of the sons she raised into the men they are today, but more importantly into the fathers they have become & rightfully so. She would be so proud of them both these past few weeks.
It would be an understatement to say my heart is broken, I will miss my cousin & friend forever.
Love, Me
