Lucille Korf

Lucille Korf, age 90, of Holbrook NY, formerly of Smithtown, NY and Fullerton, CA, entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2020. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank Korf. She was born Oct 1, 1929 in East Orange, New Jersey to Warren and Emmabelle (Kelvie) Edris.

Lucille worked as an Executive Secretary for many years at Western Suffolk County Boces in Dix Hills, NY. She was a dedicated parishioner at Bayport United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer at their thrift shop and soup kitchen. Lucille took great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. In her free time she loved watching sports, was an avid reader and went to Sachem Library often to check out books and loved shopping on QVC.

Lucille is survived by her son Steven J. Korf and his wife Debra, her daughter Jennifer Petronzio and her husband Michael. Her grandchildren Danielle Shepard and her husband AJ, Steven Korf and his wife Stacie, Michael Petronzio and his wife Sara, Matthew Petronzio and 5 beautiful great grandchildren.

Burial and services will be private. A memorial service to celebrate Lucille’s life will be announced at a future date.
