Lori Lavelle-Jardin

Lori LaVelle-Jardin was such a huge presence in this life that she needed an extra name. She was born on August 31st, 1961 to loving parents William and Suzanne and lived an extraordinary life. Her bright, beautiful light was extinguished on May 14th, 2022 after 60 wonderful years on this earth. She spent the latter years of her life valiantly battling cancer, in an effort to have more time with the people she loved. She wanted every moment of time she could possibly have to spend with her husband Joseph, her daughters Kimberly and Jessica, and her four grandchildren Jack, Paige, Riley and Harper. Though her list of accomplishments and accolades is long, including a successful career as a pediatric nurse practitioner and service in the United States Navy, she was most proud of her loving family. She was a devoted Mema, and a wizard with her Cricut, so all her grandkids had the best of the best when it came to personalized gear. There are probably few people in Hauppauge who don’t have a vinyl monogram on their cars made for them by Lori. Kindness came as effortlessly to her as breathing, and she touched countless lives over the course of her own. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and aunt, and she will be forever missed. Her life will be honored at Moloney’s Funeral Home in Hauppauge on Friday, May 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Hauppauge on Saturday, May 21st at 1045am. In lieu of flowers, her family prefers donations in Lori’s name to:
