I was lucky enough to have Linda as my boss for the past 8 years. Not only was she the best boss because she actually took the time to learn about your job so she could advocate for what you needed but she was also a wonderful human being. I loved when we could just sit and talk. She also knew the importance of family and whenever there was a crisis involving someone in my family she made sure I was able to make the time to be there for my family when I was needed the most. To say she will be missed is a huge understatement. May you rest in peace. I know you are with your husband who you loved dearly. I am sorry I could not be there tonight to honor you but you are always in my thoughts.

I will always be grateful to Linda for guiding me through those first couple of years in the Medical Examiner's Office. Even though I knew absolutely nothing about budgetary matters, Linda, was nice enough to give me enough information so that it at least seemed like I knew what I was talking about! Also, i will never forget what Linda said to me once when I was trying to please everybody: "Dr. Caplan, I'm sorry but you can't buy the world a Coke"!!! She sure was right about that! Linda was also one of those few people who sent holiday cards and always remembered! My very best to Linda's family, I only wish I could have met them. Sincerely, Mike Caplan
