Robert Crnic left a message on November 2, 2022:
There aren’t words in the English language that can begin to ease the pain that everyone remotely close to Kevin is experiencing. The void left by his passing is bottomless. I know because that’s how I felt when I lost my beautiful son. Reading about Kevin reminded me so much of my own son. The most gifted among us sometimes set expectations when young that require a lifetime of patience to realize. They know they’re special, different, unique yet those qualities can be a daily burden that becomes too heavy to carry. My deepest sympathies to all those who loved Kevin and may your memories of him provide comfort over time.

Lisa Juriga left a message on October 13, 2022:
I only met Kevin once, when he made the special trip from Long Island to State College to be there for his ROTC friends on their commissioning day. He put so much effort into the people he cared for! Luke expressed that Kevin was the kindest person he’d ever met and I can see that in all the comments posted here. I only regret that our visits from Michigan were limited and we never had the opportunity to know better this young man who was so loved by our son. In honor of his memory, I have designated February 25 as my annual “Be Kind Like Kevin Day”. Praying daily for your family and all who loved him.

I am feeling so shocked and sad to hear about Kevin's death. As his TA, I only met him in the first lab this semester. I remember I was impressed by him showing up the earliest in an 8am lab and I asked him if he is a morning person. And he answered, "sometimes yes". Now I wish I could tell him, sleep well from now, it's still early.
