Deepest Sympathy to the Wasiak family. I worked with John in the 81st precinct many years ago. Great man and cop.

John, we can hardly come to terms with the reality that you left us for the next world. The four of us have shared so many wonderful times together over very many years. We always looked forward to a visit with you and Lorraine filled with love, laughter, food & drink, whether it be at your home, our home, the beach, etc. We truly miss your presence, but the memories will live on! Our sincere condolences to family and friends, we share in your grief. With love, Cindy and Steve

Always a smile on your face & a sarcastic remark. You’ve been a part of my life for most of it. I will always remember the first time I saw you in my Jr home room. You never changed, a full head of hair, barely gray & still so handsome. I will miss you dearly. The brother God sent me.
Veronica and Bob Buckward left a message on July 31, 2022:
Johnny has been there for me my whole life. I think of him as my brother not in law. When my dad died I was very but my brother was there. He and my sister Lorraine opened their home to me and my mom. Some men wouldn’t do that for in laws but Johnny. He danced with me on my wedding day stepping in for my father who couldn’t be there. I have quite a few memories I could share but this one made me laugh. One day I heard the stereo in the play room on. I opened the door a crack to find my super cool super tough brother holding a toy screwdriver like a microphone and singing an Elvis song. I’ll never forget that. I love you Johnny I will miss you not being there anymore. Thank you for everything including being Godfather to Lauren.
