I came to meet Mr Leach during his time at Brightview Senior Living in Sayville. Mr Leach was a class act. A remarkable man!!

I am sad to hear of your dad’s passing. I cleaned house for him for a few years and always enjoyed talking to him; he was such a nice man. I think I may have also met Linda and Dan at some point. Once he sold the house I visited him twice at the Bristol on Lakeland Avenue. When I called another time he was no longer there they told me but couldn’t tell me where he went or what happened. I thought then that he may have passed, but it was quite a while ago. He even got me to clean Marlene’s house a few times...I never kept in touch with her but have wondered about her. I’m sorry I never bought any of your dad’s birdhouses, I loved them and loved that he kept busy doing that and going out to sell them.....at a time in his new shiny red car I think. His garage was usually open when I came to clean and Id find him at times working in there and loved the smell of the wood from the birdhouses. At times, he’d be reading on the porch or sitting by the blazing fire he had going! He kept busy for sure After a time I think he complained about how much the man was charging him for the wood,,,,he was funny at times. Always a nice man and I’ve thought of him often... My deepest sympathy to you on your loss and to his many grandchildren and one great grandchild...May he Rest In Peace......
