Mrs. Carita was a wonderful woman, I always thought of her as my second mom, if only for a short while when Grace and I were BFFs in 8th grade. She made you feel welcomed and loved (and fed!!). She had a great sense of humor; we called her "crazy lady" jokingly, and it stuck, lol! I have many fond memories of those days, she touched many lives.

I met Grace's mom when I visited her in the hospital a couple of years ago. What a wonderfully funny woman she was! It was her first time meeting me and she was so sweet to me. We laughed and joked the few minutes that I was there. She reminded me so much of my friend Grace, with her wonderful sense of humor. My heart is broken for the entire family. Sending lot of hugs, love and my sincere condolences.
