Date of death -November1, 2022

George “Sugar” Rowe was born to the late Sylvanus and Ivy Rowe, a farmer and homemaker in Wait- A -Bit Trelawny, Jamaica. He attended the Wait-A Bit primary school and the Albert Town secondary school. George was a farmer and an entrepreneur. He operated a local minibus, and he transported children to school regardless of their ability to pay. He was nicknamed Sugar after his first motorcycle.

After a courageous battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully at home in Long Island, surrounded by his loving family. He was 64 years old.

George was a devoted husband, father, brother and uncle. He married his lovely wife Carmen Ione Clarke on May 29,1991. He was a kind and loving man, he was a living example of Ephesians 4:32-Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you. George loved his children, and he would do anything for them. He loved to help others, whether friends or strangers he would jump to help.  He touched many lives with his positive attitude and jovial nature. His many acts of kindness will not be forgotten.
