Our most heartfelt condolences to the family for your loss. We can remember the good times of our sons and Freddy growing up in Farmingville. I remember how proud he was when he became a NCPD officer, and still have the badge he gave me. Freddy was taken far to soon, such a terrible loss. May he forever Rest in Peace.

Freddy… where can I even begin? 24 years ago you befriended me on the street at one of my calls and we have had a bond ever since. Whether it was going to happy hours, times in the Hamptons, going to cocoa’s and Chelsea for dancing & drinks with the crew, phone conversations for hours, trailering wave runners, laughing together or busting each others chops, we always had fun! You helped me get my first bike and made sure I was ready to go out on the road, (I’ll always remember having your moms delicious paella that day!) Remembering how you would let me drive your M3!! Lol.. God you loved that car! We just always had fun and laughed hard. We eventually both went through some hard times in life and you really helped to see me through a time that I thought I would never breathe from again. Your support, love, friendship, push to get on my feet again and patience was such a blessing! You have no idea… I can only hope I was as much of a help to you through some of your life road bumps. You always, hands down made me feel special. Your smile and energy were like no other. No matter what could be going on, hearing that upbeat “HEY KIDDO!” made everything so bright. You were such an amazing friend and person with such vigor for life. I will always miss you. I will always remember your big smile and everything you were to me. Thank you for being in my life and making my own journey here that much more special. I have truly been blessed. Touched by a real life angel. I am forever grateful and forever left with a broken piece in my heart. I’ll never understand why you had to go through this, but we will have to try and find solace in that you can finally go fly again and do all the Freddy things that you always loved to do! Free from pain and able to be the one and only you again. Save a dance for me! Much love, friendship and appreciation, Lori (kiddo)

Freddy I have many, many fond memories of you and your times at the Third Squad. You were the brunt of many a practical joke, being the new detective, but you weathered the storm. It was an honor to work beside you and you will be sorely missed. May God look kindly upon you and if he ever needs a phenomenal Spanish interpreter, I’d suggest he go to you. You were the best. God Bless You my brother and your whole family. Joey No Onions
