While it is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our treasured matriarch, Elizabeth Mary Fabietti (1934-2022), we are comforted in knowing that Heaven has gained its most beautiful, beloved and faithful angel yet, whose spirit will forever continue to love, guide, celebrate and comfort those fortunate enough to be a part of her legacy. A devoted Catholic with an unwavering and admirable faith in Jesus; a wife unmatched; a loving, smart and dedicated mother; a fun, happy and proud grandmother and great-grandmother (“GGMa”); and a generous friend to all: Elizabeth Fabietti is a woman who stands in a class of her own. It is with a heart so big and pure, and with the absolute kindest of souls, that she taught us the way of faith, love, acceptance, generosity and charity. She saw everyone, no matter their circumstances or background, as children of God, and she was the embodiment of all that is good in this world. She is survived by her children, Thomas Bohan (Laura); Linda Farrell (Ed); Donna Workman (Scot); Margie Mateichik (Paulie); Mary Dennis (Scott); and her absolute pride and joy, Robert Bohan; her grandchildren, Kate, Brian, Meghan, Jessica, John, Craig, Elizabeth, Sarah, Alyssa, Lindsay, Krista, Danielle, Nicholas and Mikayla; and her great-grandchildren, Caelyn, Lily, Violet; Emma & Hannah; Tyler, Hailie, Ava & Mia; Isabella Rose; Riley; Leyna; and Sophia & Gianna. She is preceded by her beloved daughters, Elizabeth Lynn Bohan and Catherine Bohan; and sister, Catherine Lawlor. Elizabeth Fabietti – our mommy, our gram – we love you beyond measure and thank you for the privilege of being your children and grandchildren; it has been nothing short of an honor. We know you are just a prayer away. Your memory is a blessing to us all. Her life will be celebrated at Moloney Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge, NY, on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 70 Rockaway Street, Islip Terrace, NY.
