Edward George Bacon Sr.

Edward George Bacon, Sr., 85, of Oviedo, Florida, formerly of Long Island, New York, died June 18, 2021, at home surrounded by family. He was born March 9, 1936 in Queens, New York, the son of late Susan and Charles Bacon Sr. He was the youngest of 4 siblings. He was an operating engineer out of Local 138 for over 50 years. He is survived by his son, Eddie Bacon Jr., daughter and son-in-law Patti Ann and Mike Blood, sons John Kelly and Jim Kelly, son and daughter-in-law Joe and Virginia Kelly, and daughter and son-in-law Susan and Damon Bellani. Grandchildren Nicole, Kimberly, Kellie, Michael, Jake, Sarah, Allison, Tiffany, Nicolas, and Ava. Great- Grandchildren Everly, Cason, Beckett, Colton, Jet, Zoey, Aiden and Elliot. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Bacon, brother Charles Bacon Jr., and sisters Eugenie Dunphy and Ethel Konyha.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Moloney’s Funeral Home at 825 Main St., Holbrook, NY 11741
