Wafer, Dorothy of Ridge, NY (formerly of Hicksville) on August 12, 2010 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of George (Marian), Daniel (Laurette) and Scott. Daughter-in-law of Pat. Dear brother of Billy Gallagher. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Melissa, RJ, Jessica, Danny, Bobby and Brendan and great-grandmother of Oliver, Ainsleigh and Sara.

Born in the Bronx and lived with her children and husband in Hicksville, NY where she worked at the Hicksville Library. She moved to Ridge, NY to be near friends upon the passing of her beloved Georgie. Dot was active until she passed and continued her love of bowling and dancing. She was a devout Catholic and was currently attending St. Anthonys in Rocky Point.

Reposing Moloneys Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Rd. (Rte. 111) Hauppauge, NY where a religious service will be held Sunday. Funeral Mass Monday 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, Rocky Point. Interment following Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. www.moloneyfh.com
