I met Don and Dottie over 30 years ago at the NYC Landmark Ear Inn Pub. I enjoyed their company that nite and every time I had seen them since. Talking to Don about NY Sports teams was not only fun but his knowledge of those teams especially from the 50's and 60's was both entertaining and educating for me. I am glad to have had the chance to hear those stories and honored to have known the man who told them to me!

BROTHER NOW DAD………..I'm thankful for the family me and Cathy made now ,blessed !!! Actually ……but you now understand and respect what you learned from dad. At least from Mine,,, that was instilled in me as a boy growing up in the streets of Brooklyn before it became chic, neighborhood ,,,,,,,,,,, “”””DONT BE A LIAR AND A SNEAK “”””” “”””””LOOK A MAN IN THE EYES WHEN YOU TALK TO HIM “””” “”””””SHAKE HIS HAND LIKE A MAN , DONT GIVE HIM THE FISH TALE “””””” “””””RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY GIVE IT AND YOU RECEIVE IT “”””” “””YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TELL HIM ,, NOT BEHIND HIS BACK "". He was rough around the edges never could say I Love you son ,,,,,,, With it good Reason ,,,,,cause he didn't know how. His Dad left him and his mother at age 12 or 14 Be grateful for what you got and times that you have with ur love ones ....Because before you know it your time moves so quickly .., and your left with things that you wish you did or didn't do! Or say !! To see what he had gone through since my mom died was a shame.... At least I finally heard what I always wanted to hear !!! as we said goodbye for the final time !!!
