Dennis Joseph Imbesi

Dennis Joseph Imbesi, Age 80; Born, June 17, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY; Died, April 17, 2020. Dennis was born in Brooklyn, NY where he lived his pre-teen years with his extended family: Parents, Millie and John, sister Diane, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in the family Park Slope brownstone. With the birth of his second sister, Cathy, his parents moved first to Elmont and then to Huntington on Long Island where he lived to adulthood. Dennis married on May 19, 1962 to his beautiful wife, Marie, with whom he shared 56 loving years until Marie’s passing. They made their home in East Northport and raised their two loving daughters, Donna and Kim who graced Dennis with five wonderful grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Donna and husband John (Zupka) and their three children, Danielle, John and Joe as well as daughter Kim and her husband Tom (Cory) and their two children, Kristi and Jessica. Dennis is also survived by his two loving sisters and their husbands, Diane and Mike (Buxenbaum), Cathy and Jerry (Papson), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to the pandemic, the arrangements must be private, restricted to the immediate family. We will gather at an appropriate time for a fitting, honoring and loving memorial.
