A beautiful light has gone out, miss your smile...
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
My heart is forever broken since Christine's tragic death. I loved working with her for years. She was interviewed by me and I instantly saw the bubbly, intelligent, compassionate nurse that she was. To me she was " little one" we shared so much together, working days and nights together. Me as the Nurse Practitioner and her as the RN. We kept in touch even when we weren't working together. She knew I wasn't on Facebook so she would send me pictures of Valerie through texts. I will forever remember her and forever my heart cries that her life, her bubbly beautiful smile, were ended too soon. I'm so heartbroken for her Mom, Dad. Sister, husband , mother in law and of course her beloved daughter Valerie ❤ I just loved Christine like the daughter I never had and as a the compassionate colleague she was. God Bless and watch over her family. God has another angel but we here grieve.
Christine you were an amazing person and glad I was blessed to meet you at QU. Rest in peace, the world lost an angel. Condolences to your family.

I wish there were words I could share that would somehow ease the pain of your family- especially your little girl. Thank you for welcoming me into the PICU family with kindness, and thank you for showing my daughter the same love you gave to all of your patients. You were truly one of a kind. Rest peacefully.

Christine will be missed by so many. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. Sending love and condolences to her entire family and daughter. I will remember her forever and her dedication to her patients.
I went to college with Christine, and we were in Alpha Phi Omega together. I have soooo many good memories of times we spent together. While our paths diverged after school, and we were no longer geographically close, I always enjoyed seeing her facebook posts of her adventures in health, nursing and about her daughter and the occasional message. My deepest condolences to all you that are hurting from her loss, especially her little one. She was truly a wonderful person, and clearly will be sorely missed.
To my best friend! I will love you forever! Fly high angel for now you are the wind beneath my wings. Xoxo
Prayers for the family and may God have mercy.
May god receive you in his arms and you rest in peace.
Condolences to the Banfield & Benson families. I had the pleasure of knowing Christine when working at Mathnasium. She was one of the kindest women I’ve ever met. Her smile and bubbly personality could light up any room.
Tess, Brendan and Valerie:
I am so sorry for your loss. Mommy gained her wings and is now in Heaven with God. As you go through life, remember she is always with you and in your hearts
Thank you for all the joy you brought to each day and desire to give back. You were always willing to dive in, get involved, and help on the unit. You were incredible mama to Valerie. I’ll never forget the happiness on your face as you showed me the video of Valerie learning to ride her bike before I went out on leave- you were so proud. All my love and prayers being sent to your family and sweet Valerie. You will be missed.

Fly free with the Angel's, Christine. You touched so many hearts with your love, light, and beautiful smile.
My sincere condolences to Christine’s family. May her light always shine bright and all the beautiful memories bring comfort and peace to all those who had the honor of knowing and loving her.
The greatest compliment I could give a person is that I would trust them to take care of my kids. It’s a short list of people, and Christine was on it. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone more passionate about being a nurse, or a fiercer patient advocate. She mentored new nurses and took on every challenge and man was she something to watch in the way she could connect with families. And above all that, my god did she love Valerie. This loss is immense. She was such a gift to us all.
A dedicated nurse; a strong patient advocate; a mentor to new staff and someone who would go above and beyond during a pandemic. And at the end of the day you went home to the love and joy of your life, your daughter and husband. RIP Christine and know you made a difference in many lives.

My prayers are with the family. Christine was by far one of the kindest, most genuine and giving people I have ever met. I will never drink another Diet Coke and not think of her and how she was just a beacon of light in the PICU. She will be so very missed.
