Catherine “Cathy” Ann Keller, nee Strong, 63, of Sayville, New York joined our Lord on March 25, 2023 at 7:39 am. She was born on April 20, 1959 in Queens, New York to parents William and Patricia Strong. Cathy kept in touch with many of her friends from growing up in Levittown. She was married to Thomas Michael Keller on October 23, 1983 on Long Island, New York. Survived by her husband, Thomas Michael Keller; her three children, Jacqueline (Robert Gillispie), Katelyn (Steven Tornetta), and Patricia (Anthony Tumminello); as well as her dearly beloved grandchildren, John Robert Gillispie (4 years), Reagan Brooke Gillispie (2 years), Hailey Rose Tornetta (9 months), and Logan Thomas Gillispie (4 months). Cathy’s pride and joy were her grandchildren, and her face lighting up when she sees them will be sorely missed. She loved to bake and make gift packages for the grandchildren and neighbors’ children. She enjoyed sifting through documents and ancestry.com to learn about her family’s history and build our family tree. Cathy loved to travel, and recently visited Europe for the third time. She always made a house feel like home, and her three daughters strive to decorate their houses in the same cozy fashion and make holidays special like she did.

The family will receive visitors at Bohemia Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 9:45 am at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Bay Shore, New York. Cathy will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery following the funeral mass.
