Howe, Carolann(e) of Sayville, NY on October 8, 2020 in her 70th year. Loving mother of Christina and Bryan (Holly) Calabrese. Loving sister to Janice Weidner and Robert (Laura) Howe. Cherished aunt to Amy (Joe) Weidner- LaSalla, Kevin Weidner, Jeffrey (Christina) Howe and Amanda Howe. Adored Great Aunt of Benjamin, Phoebe, Julia, and William. Beloved Nana of Kaia, Charlie and Phillip James.
Family and friends are like quilts, lives pieced together and stitched together, colored by happiness and tears, bound by memories and love, cherished throughout the years.
Carolann’s love and devotion to her family and friends was rivaled only by the love and compassion she poured into the beautiful quilts and blankets she made. She brought so much love and happiness to so many, creating lasting memories through her quilting. She was able to recreate feeling and emotion in her blankets, forever cherished by the recipients. She lived for her grandchildren, her family and her friends; and for Carolann spending quality time with those she loved meant everything. When she wasn’t quilting or baking you could find her in the yard gardening, another passion and talent. A true green thumb, Carolann could grow anything and everything. If you were on the receiving end of one of the bouquets from her garden you know well the love, skill and bounty she shared with those she loved.
Carolann was loved by all who met her and her kindness and sweetness had no limit – she will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Heaven has gained another angel far too soon and we will carry her memory in our hearts.
