Dear Patricia, Danielle, Leo, and Thomas, I am so saddened to hear this news today. Carl was such a kind and generous man, and I will never forget all of the family holiday meals and barbecues we had at his homes. My love and prayers are with all of you as you go through this very difficult time together. Never be afraid to show your grief, because it is a reflection of the love you had for him. I hope Carl and George are in heaven arguing about the Islanders vs. the Rangers! My love and my prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Linda

Carl was the best man for my first wedding. I have known him since I was 14. I always kept in touch with him and had so many fun times over the years! I was so happy I got to see him this past October and go out to lunch! The fedyszyn family loved Carl and we will miss him tremendously! My condolences to his family!

Michael Hyde left a message on June 21, 2022:
Today, I said goodbye to one of my first friends' in life. From playing hockey in the street, to rumbling around in his backyard, to flipping baseball cards up against the side of his childhood home, calling for Carl was my favorite past time as a kid!!! During my teenaged years, we flipped Newsday's together and later on he got me work where he was employed in a flavor and fragrance company on Long Island. As the years went on, we went our separate ways but when we connected we would reminisce and laugh about what was once...Today, I retreated some 40 years to see people and to talk about Carl Lembo stories that made me feel sad yet happy that I could relive if not for a few moments what it was like to have known and loved Carl. Only his heart could eclipse the giant stature of the man that he was!!! Carl Lembo will be missed and NEVER forgotten!!! Rest in Peace "Carlly" and one more time "Let's Go IsLandDERS!!! Remember the time they wanted to escort me out of the Coliseum and You saved me!!!!

Carl was more than a friend to me. He helped me thru some ruff times and I was so happy that I was always able to tell him how important he was and I never waited for now to give him accolades. No one should it so important to say everything when the person is alive to hear it. My heart is heavy. My his family and parents find peace knowing how important their son was to many.
