Dawn Lombardo left a message on November 21, 2022:
It’s so hard to find the words to say to express my sorrow to all who are left with such heavy hearts. I came back to visit the website for some reason at 2am and noticed there was a video of such beautiful memories that Bunny made in her short time. She didn’t get enough turns around the sun that’s for sure, but judging by the pictures… she sure lived a beautiful life. I’m knowing and living this pain that we now have in common and I have learned grace and I have been trying to do the best I can as I’m sure you all are as hard as it is. Frank if you ever want to talk please get my number From Patty. You are all in my prayers. Dawn

There is not an existing word in the English dictionary that could ever express or depict the absolute devastation we feel, and will forever carry, over the loss of our cousin and niece, Bunny Kouba. To say the loss of Bunny is paramontly cruel would be immensly underrated. We can only hope so hard and believe that our family has reunited in a way that we won't understand, until the day we do understand. We love you Bunny, so much. Until we meet again.

Dear Bunny, My forever best friend! From BOCES to college, from Manhattan to Mexico, from Meatloaf to Elton to Phantom and the CFDA’s with Princess Diana! We shopped, sewed, cooked, baked, and gardened together. Took quilting classes, cake decorating classes and scrapbooked together. We started careers together, got married together, bought houses together and had babies together. From weddings, baby showers and christenings; from beautiful new beginnings to the saddest of endings….I will never forget our story! I will never forget YOU! Til we meet again in heaven. May you rest easy in the hands of Jesus my sweet friend! I Love You, Tracie

Ironically, we were later pregnant with our sons and gave birth on the same day, same hospitalI hold your kind, crafty, loving, sweet and genuine soul very close to my heart. Your home, filled with so much of your talents, is filled with the heartwarming touch you have brought to so many. May God Bless all who loved you during this most difficult time and the days, months and years ahead. Rest In Peace, Angel.
