Peace my brother... I heard today. We were blessed with conversation in our 50's and 60+ which earlier generations didn't have. It was amazing the the first hello 30+ years after HS graduation, the internet was amazing yet sinister the past decade. It was a honor knowing you Arthur, I was a lucky dude to move to Smithtown our Jr. year of HS. And the antics of our 20's in the bar scene of the 80's in Suffolk county. I raise this glass to our 42 year friendship, and please keep one cold for me and a seat at the bar to catch up ☮️ & ❤️ Flintstone... till we meet again

I’m just finding out about this sad news. Arty and I were classmates from high school. So sad to find this out. Arty will be missed. He had an unusual sense of humor, one I will miss seeing on Facebook. I’ll be lonely in FB jail without Arty. RIP my friend.

So sorry to just learn of the passing of Arthur. I lived next door to the Flynn family for around 20 years and they were great neighbors. My sympathy to James and his brother and sisters at this time. Sending love to them.

Tim Clouthier left a message on April 12, 2022:
I was one of Arthur's managers at EDS many years ago and recall Arthur as an energetic, committed and highly skilled technician who supported our XEROX account. He was a strong teammate who was willing to assist others as needed. He cared about his clients and sought to provide them the best service so they, in turn, could be productive. I enjoyed Arthur's sense of humor as well as it frequently lightened my day. I recall he spoke so highly of his children and what they were accomplishing in their lives. You could tell he was very proud of them. I hope there are many fond memories to relish that will help through this time of mourning. I'm sorry to hear of Arthur's passing and will be praying for his family as they navigate this time of loss. God is a great source of comfort at times like this and I hope you all feel His presence and care. God bless.

I was saddened by hearing of the loss of Artur. He was extremely talented at his trade, ethical and had high integrity. Myself, and everyone in my office, enjoyed speaking with him. There will never be another Arthur. To his family the loss must be devastating. I one thing I feel I can offer is the knowledge that the ones we love never really leave us. When you speak to him, he will answer. If you look for him, he will be there. If you pay attention, he will send you signs he is watching. May all the people that loved him find comfort in that thought and always give honor to his memory.
