Grannie Annie, Grandma: where do I begin or what can I even say? You were the best, it’s as simple as that. You made everyone feel welcomed and loved no matter who they were; friends, strangers, anyone. No judgment, only love and laughter despite the many hardships you faced throughout your life. I will always cherish the visits my dad and I had with you on weekends and having breakfast at your house while we just sat at the table and talked about life. You’d beg us to move to Long Island because you were convinced the bears would get me since we lived in the woods. Your spirit lives on with all of us Grandma, it’ll never leave. I can still hear your laugh and how you’d say “Stevie”; I cherish that. Living in a different state and then joining the military on top of that made me miss a lot of valuable time with you, I wish I would’ve called you more. Find solace in knowing you are deeply missed and will always be part of us. Till we meet again grandma, I love you.

Grannie Annie. My heart is so heavy. Where do I begin? The most gentle beautiful soul. Never judged, always a great listening ear. You gave the best hugs. Told the best jokes. Your Mind always in the gutter. Literally the best!! This one hurts. I do find a little peace in knowing that your at peace and with your Sons. Watch over us all and keep us sane. You will forever be missed.

It takes a true legend to raise such a strong beautiful family. I have such admiration of how close knit and loving you all are. It’s a testament to the kind of woman she was. It was an honor to have met granny Annie and be in her presence. I hope it gives the family comfort knowing that she truly lives on through the strength of her family. Its such a privilege knowing my daughter will be comforted and warmed by her blanket for the rest of her life. We will cherish it always. I love you, all.

Grannie Annie where do I even start. So many memories of my childhood and growing up have you in them. I'll never forget the days of riding my bike to your house on Edwards every chance I got, and without fail it didn't matter you dropped what you were doing to cook me something. Most of the time my favorite chicken cutlets and your "egg crumbs" as you called them. The Christmas parties you and grandpa used to have are some of my favorite childhood memories when we were all a whole family, all together. I will never for as long as I live forget that bright vibrant laugh of yours, how you used to try and stuff dollar bills down our pants Bc we were so dang good looking haha, calling over to your house and getting my favorite "oh hiiiiii booooo", or laying on the floor in your tv room watching wheel of fortune or jeopardy while you would crochet everyone and their mother brothers uncles sisters friends a blanket. Some of my most prized possessions are my grannie Annie blankets and my latest scarf you just recently made me for my 30th birthday. Grandma, Losing you has left a hole in my heart that will ache forever. I will miss you until the day it's my time to go. I know you are up there so happy to see uncle Kenny and uncle Willy again and I find peace knowing you are once again with your boys up there. Your legacy will live on forever in this family. I just wish my kids got more time with you. But don't worry they will always know and love their Grannie Annie. I love you forever grandma. It's never goodbye, it's see you later Love your boo
