Victor C. Arnao, born May 21, 1927, entered eternal life on November 2, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan Arnao, and his three children: Rev.Thomas V. Arnao, Ellen Weglarz (Tom), and Bernadette Gabrielsen, son-in-law Carl. He was a loving "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren, Thomas Weglarz, Molly Weglarz, Nathanial Gabrielsen, Rebecca Gabrielsen, Sara Gabrielsen and Daniel Gabrielsen. Victor was a proud naval veteran (Chief Petty Officer) of World War II and the Korean War.


He was an outstanding athlete and avid golfer. He was also a man of great faith, a devout catholic and served his parishes of Our Lady of Mercy, Hicksville, St Lawrence the Martyr in Sayville, and, in his later years, St Theresa Lisieux in Fort Myers and St Paul in Summerfield, Florida.

He was an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and enjoyed bringing Holy Communion to the sick, the homebound, and those in Veterans Homes. 


However, His greatest joy was spending time with his beloved wife and family.
