Urmila Dhablania

Our beloved mom, 89, passed away peacefully on September 11th in NY. She was a role model as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. We will miss her dearly. 

We were all fortunate and blessed to have her with us on July 18th this past month when we celebrated her 89th birthday. Little did we know that God had alternate plans and that we would lose her so soon. She always used to tell us – “Man Proposes and God Disposes.” In fact, she kept a book of idioms that has a collection of idioms for every occasion. We will use that for all times to come and will pass down through generations. Mom, thank you for giving us the up-bringing and values that make us who we are. We are truly blessed to have you as our mom. 

Our mom is survived by her four kids, Dr. Deepali Gulati (Gogi) with son-in-law Dr. Anil Gulati, Ritu Bahri (Baby), Atul Dhablania (Bada Kaka) with daughter-in-law In Cha Kim and Vikas Dhablania (Chota Kaka) with daughter-in-law Sumati Vij. She is also survived by seven grandkids, Abhishek Gulati, Dr. Rishabh Gulati, Dr. Ritika Bahri, Sahil Bahri, Nathan Kim Dhablania, Sanaya Dhablania and Simran Dhablania along with four great grandkids, Neil Gulati, Elina Gulati, Amelia Gulati and Arjun Gulati.
