Burke, Thomas A. of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C. (formerly of Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) on February 16th, 2012 in his 74th year. Thomas was born in Bronx, N.Y. to James and Mary Burke. He joined the Navy in 1954 and is a retired Iron Worker for Local 580. Beloved husband of Stephanie. Loving father of Catherine Cartlidge (Robert), Coreen Bandalos (John), Keri Simone (Joseph), Kelly Chichester (Steven) and step-father of Lynn Bates (Joey), Charles Scharf (Marah), Rachel Scharf and Michelle Cassano-Boxman (Jeff). Dear brother of Jeannie Hoffer (Charles), Jack Burke (Kathy) and James Burke (Kate). Cherished Pop-Pop of Sean, Crystal-Lee, Joseph, Alyssa, Emily, Samantha and Poppa Tom of Kaci, Jillian, Stephanie, Karly, Carissa, James, Ronald, Nicholas, Michael, Nicholas and Justin. Reposing Moloneys Lake Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y where a religious service will be held Wednesday 8pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 10am at St. Josephs R.C. Church, Ronkonkoma. Interment Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
