Therese Alice Tucker

Therese Alice Tucker (Legere – White), age 87 at time of her passing on November 2, 2019 after a long battle with cancer and kidney disease. Therese was a painter and will live on not only in her artwork, but in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Therese is pre-deceased by Thomas Anthony White (1958, husband); and William Tucker (1998, husband); Diana Kanyuck (2001, Mother); William Thomas White (2014, Son); Karen Kathleen Bisha (2019, granddaughter); and both of her brothers, Thomas and Robert.

Therese was the loving mother of seven children: Carol Covic and husband Craig Covic of Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA; William White (deceased) of Los Angeles, CA ; Maureen Bisha and husband Robert Bisha of Glen Allen, VA; Mary White of Center Moriches, NY; Alice Fallier and husband Martin Fallier of East Moriches, NY; Judy Nicotera and husband Domenic Nicotera of Hanover, MA; and Christine Tucker-Hardenburgh and husband Anthony Hardenburgh of Ronkonkoma, NY.

Therese was the cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 5: Carly and Joe Ambler (children: Marion and Ava); Claire and Erik Ocskasy; Cybil and David Huntzinger; Darren White; Michael Bisha and Brittany Miller (children: Carter, Lucy, and Molly); Karen Bisha (deceased); Patrick Bisha; Madeline Fallier; Jeffrey Fallier and Fiancé Michelle Rice; Dante Nicotera; and Teresa Nicotera.

The family wishes to thank all of the health care professionals who have cared for her over the years, especially these past few weeks.
