Moebes, Teresa O. of Smithtown, New York, passed away at age 91 on January 5, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Richard for 63 wonderful years. Devoted mother of Mary, Cathy, Barbara and Teresa. Dear mother-in-law of Steven Stanis and Victor Truisi. Cherished grandmother of Emily and Kate. Dear sister of her late brother, Bernard Schnabel (wife, Doris) and her late sister, Loretta Mohr (husband, Ronald). Dear sister-in-law of the late Edward and Joan Moebes. Favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. Over the years Mom enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, reading, going to shows, family Christmas parties and annual family picnics. Lifelong Long Islander and homemaker. During retirement, she and her husband enjoyed many years at their second home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She will surely be missed!
