Samuel Cavasinni

Sam Cavasinni passed away quietly at home on Saturday May 6,2023. Sam was born on September 20, 1933 in Celano, Italy. Following his father and 2 brothers, he came to America in 1950.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Merilyn “Merry” and their three children and their families. Sam’s loving family has happily grown over the years. He has 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His family includes his son Ernie, his wife Susan and their three children Mike and his wife Kathryn and their three children – Quinn, Sam, and Wells – Joey and his wife Jess and their four children – Vivienne, Griffin, Josie and Millie – and Lauren and her husband Brendan; his daughter Elena and her husband Scott and their two children – Sam and Sabrina; and his daughter Gina and her husband Ed and their son Eddie.

Sam built a thriving construction business for over 50 years. He also owned and ran Princess Health & Beauty for over 35 years.

Sam was the ultimate provider and storyteller. Working mercilessly and yet always finding the time for family, passing along knowledge and a few funny stories from generation to generation.

Sam was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be sorely missed.
