Lentini, Salvatore of Medford, NY suddenly on March 12, 2011 in his 61st year. Retired Elementary School teacher at Rocky Point School District. Professor of Education at Stony Brook University. Beloved & devoted husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Salvatore(Heidi), Melissa Markotsis(Greg), Brian(Carrin), and Matthew. Devoted son of Joseph and the Late Palma Lentini. Cherished Pop Pop of Cole, Markella, Dora, Ella, Tess, Holden, Mason, James, and Harlan. Dear brother of Clint Lentini, Joseph Lentini, and Sarina Hayes.

Reposing Moloneys Holbrook Funeral Home, 825 Main Street, Holbrook, NY where religious services will be held Wednesday evening. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker RC Church, Patchogue, NY. Cremation following at Nassau Suffolk Crematory, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society- Long Island Chapter, 1324 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY 11749.
