Russell K. Ross

Russell K Ross of Bohemia NY passed away peacefully on 9/27/21 at the age of 60.

Russell was born to the union of Reginald W Ross Jr. and Dolores Ross(née Boston), on October 22, 1960, in the Bronx NY.

In his formative years, he attended PS 1, IS 131, Michelangelo JHS, and Truman HS.

After his parents relocated the family to the suburbs, Uniondale NY, he attended Uniondale HS where he graduated at the age of 16. He went on to attend Tuskegee Institute where he majored in Pre-med studies. While there, he joined the fraternity “The Pershing Rifles.” (Q Dawg).

Always adventurous, he joined the Air Force ROTC program where he trained to pilot fighter jets. He later attended Control Data Institute and excelled in the computer programming course. He also tried his hand at sales and became a top performer.

His greatest passion was fishing, and you could find him at his favorite spot most weekends.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Reginald W Ross Jr., Dolores Ross(née Boston), Daughter Isis Ross, Grandson Bayron Carter, a brother Gary M Ross( Sylvia), Nephews, Gary R Ross, Matthew K Ross (Kimberly) and Neal P Ross. A Grandmother Cybeale Ross, an Aunt Lorraine Moore and a family friend Henry Rumpf as well as a host of family and friends
