Rosalie "Dede" Hirsch

It is with great sadness that the family of Rosalie “Dede” Hirsch announces that she has passed away on February 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving parents John and Lena Guercio, soul mate Kenneth, beloved brother Joseph, cherished son and daughter-in-law Gary and Janice, and adored grandson Charlie.

She is survived by her loving daughter Darlene, son-n-law Charles, devoted grandchildren Kenny (Diana) Hirsch, Jill (Ken) Buck and Mark (Marisa) Peterman and her precious great-grand children Abigail, Ryan, Alana, Aubrey, Quin and Hunter.

She grew up in Smithtown, Long Island where she had a wonderful childhood surrounded by family. She was a gifted athlete and dancer. Her specialty was field hockey and the Lindy. She met her soulmate Kenneth and settled in Hauppauge where she got a job working as a receptionist in the library. She was known and loved by everyone she met. May she rest in eternal peace.
