Robert Francis Martin Jr.

Robert F. Martin Jr. (Bob) was born March 23, 1942 in Brooklyn to Della Fox (mother) and Robert F. Martin Sr. (father). He was raised with two siblings, Diane Nichols and William Martin. Bob married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Janus, in 1962, and they had two children, Laura Ferriolo and Robert F. Martin III. Bob was a volunteer at the Nesconset Fire Department and made his way up the ranks to lieutenant. He was also a police officer at the 2nd precinct. In his lifetime, Bob held many jobs, including Grumman Aerospace, an auto body shop, shoeing horses, oil delivery, and work in his personal tinker shop. He loved boating, fishing, and working on the family farm in upstate New York. He especially adored spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, children, siblings, and grandchildren, Michael Ferriolo, Steven Ferriolo, and Emma Martin, along with his great grandchildren, Isabell Ramos and Salvatore Ferriolo, and his many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Bob will always remain in our hearts, but he has now joined his granddaughter, Amee Martin, in heaven.
