Moebes, Richard T. of Smithtown, New York, passed away at age of 86 on November 4, 2017. Beloved husband of Teresa for 63 wonderful years. Devoted father of Mary, Cathy, Barbara and Teresa. Dear father-in-law of Steven Stanis and Victor Truisi. Cherished grandfather of Emily and Kate. Dear brother of the late Edward Moebes (the Late Joan). Dear brother-in-law to the late Bernard Schnabel (Doris) and The late Loretta Mohr (Ronald). Favorite Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He retired from Grumman Aerospace after 41 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed golf, cooking and spending time with his family. During his retirement, he and his wife spent four months a year in their second home in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He will be greatly missed!
