Peter Piro

We mournfully announce the passing of Peter Piro, 81, of Holbrook, NY. Peter passed away on February 14, 2021.

Peter was born the son of the late Connie and Leo Piro on October 17, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. Peter proudly served in the United States Army from 1963-1965. After his service he began his career as a general contractor. Always willing to help others, Peter enjoyed what he did and was grateful for the long career.

Peter pursued his passion of antiquing and bottle collecting whenever possible, and was a long time member of the Long Island Antique Bottle Association. He was a great conversationalist, enjoyed a good laugh, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his sister Marcia and brother Joseph.

He is survived by his wife Carol of 52 years; his brothers Salvatore (Florence) and Leonard (Denise); his three children Dawn, Peter (Selena), and Michael (Kristen); and his seven grandchildren, Christina, Miranda, Dylan, Sophia, Michael, Alexander, and Ryan.
