Patricia Alice Johnson

Mrs. Patricia Johnson, age 90, passed away on July 9, 2021.

Patricia was born in Brooklyn, NY to Dr. and Mrs. Peter T. Neyland. Patricia married Donald Johnson in 1957

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Johnson, and her parents Peter and Ann Neyland.

Patricia is survived by her three cherished sons Paul, Donald, and Robert Johnson, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, her sister Ann Harrington, and brother Peter Neyland. 

Patricia was a long time resident of North Merrick, where she was a second grade teacher at Camp Avenue Elementary School until her retirement in 1987. Patricia was a member of Sacred Heart R. C. church in North Merrick, and was actively involved in the Third Order of St. Francis and Catholic Daughters of America. 

Services for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. John Nepomucene R.C. Church, 1140 Locust Ave, Bohemia NY. There will be an informal gathering preceding the services from 10:00-11:00 in the church hall. Services will be officiated by Rev. Joseph Schlafer, with the homily provided by Rev. Thomas Gallagher. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery at 12:45 in Westbury, New York.
