Millie Sexton has passed away from a short illness in her sleep during the early morning hours of Saturday, August 26, 2017.

She was born on December 26, 1945 in Puerto Rico and was raised in Brooklyn, NY.  She spent her adult life on Long Island, NY.  When Millie retired, she spent her time between Puerto Rico and Long Island. While in Puerto Rico, she cared for her father until his passing.

Millie is survived by two sons, Alexander Sexton and Jorge Rivera, and two daughter-in-laws, Janice Sexton and Maria Rivera. She is also survived by her sister Lucy Silva, brother-in-law Ismael Silva and their children Christopher, Tabitha, and Arnold along with their children.

Millie had 2 grandchildren which made her eyes glow each time she spent time with them, AJ Sexton and Peter Rivera.

Services will be at Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY on Monday August 28, 2017, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Millie will be cremated.  Her sister will bring her cremated remains to Puerto Rico to be placed with her mother Ana, for her eternal resting place.
