Chanenchuk, Michael J. of Moriches, NY passed away on June 29^th, 2021 in his 85^th year. Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife Arlene, and his loving parents Michael and Anna Chanenchuk. Michael is survived by his four children, Michael Chanenchuk (Jennifer), Debra Reece (David), Carolyn Sichler (Bud), and Bruce Chanenchuk (Claire). Michael was loved greatly by his grandchildren Michael, Justin, Carli (Matthew), Clem, Christopher, Matthew, Colby, Scott, Tori, and Tucker. He will be missed dearly by his partner of many years, Joan Corrody. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who had a long career in public service as a firefighter for the FDNY. His service was both courageous and honorable. Michael loved boating and fishing, enjoyed watching sports and playing bocce ball, had an affinity for oysters and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play lacrosse. But Michael loved nothing more than being around his family. He will live in our hearts and memories forever.
